Design Solution:
The kitchen and bathroom are constructed of translucent wall surfaces — materials that offer privacy and functionality, while permitting light to brighten and enlarge the tight spaces. The shower, enlarged to meet modern, more stringent handicap-accessibility requirements, becomes a sculptural object, augmenting the living area and daringly serving as the focal point upon entry to the apartment.
